The thought of creating a brand and website that attracts your dream audience shouldn't give you a pit in your stomach. It should be an enjoyable and insightful experience that gives you the space to take time to check in with yourself, assess where you are, and where you want your business to go. So that you can intentionally craft how you want others to see you, all while helping solve your clients' or customers' problems in the process.
LET ME TAKE A GUESS...
exude the energy you bring to your clients or customers, your audience will feel the disconnect and find it hard to connect with you.
Here is the thing, design can make a huge difference, but it is only effective when it reflects you and tells your story. The authentic you that your sister sees over a glass of wine chatting about the Real Housewives. The you that your partner sees over coffee while reading the newspaper on a slow Sunday morning.
As a multifaceted business owner, it’s easy to let your branding and website take a backseat when you're focused on your clients, customers, and scaling your business. You didn’t start your business because you dreamed of spending months designing the perfect logo or website, did you? Eventually, you end up feeling like your online presence doesn't reflect the client experience you’ve created. Or the value you provide, which makes it hard to feel confident as a business owner.
Maybe you never took the time to set a strategy in place. If you didn't take time to think about what you and your business stands for, why what you are doing makes a difference, and the guiding principles with which you will run your business, sooner or later you end up feeling detached from your business and purpose. People connect with people and if your brand doesn't accurately

When you feel out of alignment with your online presence and brand, it will only keep you from reaching your full potential as a business and from connecting with the people you truly want to. I know because I've been there.
Armed with the clarity and confidence I so desperately needed, I learned how to convey my brand messaging and strategically illustrate it throughout my branding and website.
I was finally able to connect with the people I wanted to serve because I finally knew how to express my values, what I had to offer, and why it mattered. I could’ve saved myself so much time if I had someone to guide me through that process.
Now, I get to use my background in design, marketing, and business, to break down brand strategy, branding, and website design into a collaborative and insightful process for female founders like you. A process that not only leaves you with an elevated, thoughtful brand and website built to connect and convert, but also with the clarity and courage to show up confidently as the expert you are. All so you can work in alignment with your purpose while attracting more dream clients and customers.
Whether you are just starting your business and developing your brand for the first time or are a few years in with an established brand in serious need of a refresh, I have been exactly where you are.
Once upon a time (not all that long ago), I felt so out of alignment with my business and brand. I had outgrown the brand and website I first designed and I felt disconnected from my business as a whole. And in the midst of growing said business, I had lost sight of why I started it in the first place. Not to mention how hard it felt to genuinely connect with my audience.
My online presence didn't reflect the work I was doing or the experience I provided my clients and I didn't have a clear message. I found myself embarrassed to share my website or social media and in turn, it impacted the way I connected with other business owners.
After I took the time to dig deep into my own business and do some serious soul-searching, I found clarity and direction. I was reminded of why I started my business and I was able to uncover what makes my business unique and why it matters.
The driving force behind Briarcroft Lane will always be empowering women to experience the euphoric feeling of certainty and confidence–in themselves and their business.
FROM BLOUSES TO BRANDS
What is an Apparel Technical Designer you ask? Don't worry, I didn't know what it was either before I became one. Long story short, technical designers take fashion designers's ideas and help turn them into reality. Problem solving was a daily part of my job, as was making strategic and intentional decisions to ensure that when a customer received their item of clothing in the mail, it fit like a glove so they would want to make a permanent spot for it in their closet. Also in the job description? Analyze the existing brand and latest collection to see where improvements could be made to raise metrics, increase revenue, and meet our customer's needs better. It's not all that different from what I do now–if you swap blouses for brands and wrap dresses for websites that is.
My love for all things design started at a young age and led me to pursue higher education studying Business and Merchandise Product Development–a perfect blend of marketing and design–at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. I founded my design business in 2020 after a successful 8-year career in the fashion industry working for some of the most well-known brands of the time. When Briarcroft Lane Design Studio was born, I would have never guessed how much my fashion background would come in handy as I built my own brand and business.
